- Voluntarily Provided InformationThis includes information you give us directly, such as when you sign up for an account, subscribe to our services, upload your resume, or participate in our AI-powered interview sessions.
- Automatically Collected InformationThis includes information that your devices automatically send when you access our services. It encompasses data like your IP address, device type, browser type, and how you interact with our platform.
Detailed Data Collection
- Log DataOur servers log information like your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and visit duration.
- Device DataWe collect information about the device you use, such as the device type and operating system.
- Personal InformationWe may collect personal details like your name and email address when you engage with our services.
- Resume & Career DataWhen you use our resume builder, ATS checker, or interview assistant, we process the career information you provide to generate AI-powered responses. This data is used solely to power the features you request.
- Interview Session DataInterview Assistant audio is streamed for transcription and is not recorded or stored. The transcript and the answer suggestions from each session are saved to your account so you can review them later; you can delete any session from your Dashboard.
- User-Generated ContentAny content provided by users will only be published with their explicit consent. Users can delete their content at any time through their account settings. Accounts inactive for over one year will have all associated data automatically deleted.
The Terview Browser Extension
The Terview browser extension fills in job application forms on your behalf. It only runs on the job boards and applicant tracking systems it is granted access to, and on pages you explicitly ask it to act on. What it reads, and why:
- Your profileThe name, email address, phone number, location, work history, education and resume saved to your Terview account are sent to the application form you are filling in. This is the purpose of the extension.
- Page contentTo fill a form, the extension reads the fields on the page and the text of the job posting. Where you ask it to assess a role or answer an application question, the relevant text is sent to our servers for processing.
- Email, when you use the Email ReplierIf you open the Email Replier on a message in Gmail or Yahoo Mail, the extension reads that message so it can draft a reply. It reads only the message you have open, only when you open the tool, and it does not read your mailbox otherwise.
- Applications you makeWe record the job postings you apply to — title, employer, link and time — so they appear in your dashboard and are not applied to twice. This is a record of applications, not a record of your browsing.
- Screenshots, when you take oneThe Snapshot tool captures the visible part of the page only when you start a capture, and sends that image to our servers to answer your question about it.
- Your sign-inYou sign in on terview.ai, not in the extension. The extension never receives or stores your password — only a session token, kept locally in your browser.
Site access beyond the supported job boards is optional and off by default. Many employers host applications on their own careers pages, and the extension cannot fill a form it is not permitted to read; you may grant that access from the extension's side panel and withdraw it at any time from your browser's extension settings.
Data collected by the extension is sent only to Terview's own servers and is used only to provide the features you have asked for. We do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties outside the service providers described in this policy, and we do not use it to assess creditworthiness or for lending. The extension does not download or run code from anywhere other than the extension package itself.

Interview session data that you choose not to save is deleted immediately after your session ends. When your account is deleted, all associated personal data is removed within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
